Sunday 24 April sees the annual Paramount CRT Spring Road Cycling Race take place just outside Shrewsbury.
The event starts at 9.30 and is based at Leighton Village Hall, with the start and finish near Eaton Constantine.
Event Organiser Stuart Proctor says: “The race is a prestigious event in the West Midlands league and has all 80 places filled very quickly, the organisation is a fair bit of work, but with help from other Paramount members marshalling and several other tasks, all goes extremely smoothly on the day”. Of the 80 strong field, Paramount have two members racing – Tim Fullwood and Dave Starkey.
“The race attracts riders from various cycling clubs in the West Midlands and always proves to be an extremely popular event, which can be contributed to a combination of prize money, the great course and the post race tea and cake!”
