It was an impressive display from the visitors although it took until the 82nd minute for Marvin Johnson to break the deadlock before Ryan Rowe put the result beyond doubt with a second in injury time.

Bucks stopper Ryan Young had been the difference all afternoon as he thwarted attack after attack although in the end he was just unable to keep Harriers out.

Nathan Blissett was the first to test the stopper, who did well to keep out the striker’s goal-bound flick, before he tipped a curling Johnson shot over his goal.

Callim Gittings thought he had scored in the 14th minute but Young managed to get a hand to his fierce drive before the hosts twice hit the woodwork.

Kieron St Aime headed against a post in the 28th minute as he got on the end of a Steven Leslie free-kick, while Jordan Rose also found the woodwork, this time from a Ryan Valentine free-kick.

Telford came out looking a stronger side at the start of the second half with Chris Sharp trying his luck with an effort that flew narrowly wide of the target, while Phil Trainer came closer with an even better effort.

Young then denied Vaughan and a good long-range effort from Josh Gowling but he was unable to stop Johnson from slotting home after a superb run from Vaughan.

And substitute Rowe made it 2-0 after being expertly set up by the returning Jamille Matt.
