Steve Jones gave the Bucks a two-goal first-half lead with his strikes coming in the 35th and 37th minutes.

Luke Hubbins added a third 10 minutes into the second half before Phil Trainer put the result beyond doubt with 69 minutes played while Elliot Bradbrook struck a 75th-minute consolation for the out-of-sorts hosts.

The Darts remain in fifth though on 25 points after a super start to the campaign, while AFC Telford moved up a place to eighth, on 21 points from 14 matches played.

With the hosts starting well, Telford goalkeeper Ryan Young found himself involved in the action early on, making what proved to be a number of crucial saves, including one from Ryan Hayes.

Adam Birchall then should have done better with a 31st-minute effort that he pulled wide of the target before Jones found his opener, the double-goal scorer racing through on goal before drilling his shot into the back of the net following a poor defensive header from Tom Bonner.

Jones’ second came from a well-struck 25-yard drive just two minutes later before Hubbins saw his shot from range deflected in for the visitors’ third of the afternoon.

Trainer’s long-range effort trumped that of Jones, and more than that it secured all three points against a dejected Dartford side, who in the end had the last say as they denied Telford a clean-sheet when Bradbrook netted late on.
