With world Junior Road Race Champion Lucy Garner in the Women’s Championship, ex World Cyclo-Cross Champion and Garmin-Cervelo Professional Roger Hammond and Giant Factory Olympic mountain biker Liam Killeen.
A bumper crowd braved the cold conditions to watch exciting racing on a challenging course. Young Ewan Grivell-Mellor from Mid Shropshire Wheelers rode exceptionally well to finish 2nd in the under 14s.
Ewan is having a good year and is lying 4th overall in the National Series, only 2 points behind 3rd place. With rain making the course very slippery for the Seniors race, his older brother Luke had a solid ride to finish 6th and 2nd U23 rider.

The race was won by professional Liam Killeen (Giant factory team) 1 minute ahead of Garmin Cervelo pro Roger Hammond. The same venue will be hosting the the final round of the National Cyclocross on the 15th January 2012.
