The team played the last game of the season at Hawkestone Park Golf Club. The unit has an excellent link with the club who allow them membership but also the ability to play their home matches on the course.

Shawbury won the league with a victory over Cosford Hurricanes. The team captain, Flight Sergeant Kev Redstone said,’ I am very pleased with the performances by the Shawbury team this season. The team has won 5 and drawn 2 matches to take the title fro a second year in a row and third in four years.’

The Shawbury team is made up of players from across the unit including Military and Civilian personnel.
