Police are appealing for information after a group of youths assaulted a 16-year-old and then stole his bag containing a PlayStation in Telford.

The robbery happened between 5.20pm and 5.40pm on Monday 4 March at Oakengates Bus Station.

A group of youths approached the victim, before assaulting and stealing his bag with the PlayStation inside.

The youths made off in the direction of Uxacona Way.

The victim suffered cuts and bruising to his face.

They are described as approximately 15 years old, tall with dark hair and wearing dark coloured bottoms with puffa jackets and drawstring sports bags.

Appeal for witnesses

Enquiries are on-going and police are appealing for witnesses.
