Firefighters have today tackled two tractor fires in the county.

This morning firefighters were called to a tractor which caught fire whilst travelling on Fishmore Road in Ludlow.

The fire involving a Manitou tractor was well alight when firefighters arrived at the scene at around 10.17am.

One fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow with firefighters using a hosereel jet to put out the fire.

A tractor which caught fire at Prees Green near Whitchurch this lunchtime was destroyed by fire.

Two fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem at just after 1pm with crews using a covering jet and hosereel jet to put out the blaze.
