
One person was released by firefighters following a two vehicle collision on the A41 near Newport on Friday evening.
The crash happened at the junction of the A41 and Pave Lane at Woodcote at around 6.25pm.
Two fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport and Wellington, an operations officer was also in attendance.
One person extricated by fire service personnel and both vehicles were made safe by the fire service.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended.
The road was closed at the Pave Lane crossroads.
