A fourth person has been arrested in relation to the death of Michael Warham, who died days after being stabbed in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury.
The 18-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on bail.
Three other people were previously arrested following the incident, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of murder and were released on bail. A 19-year-old woman from Shrewsbury was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and was also released on bail.
Michael Warham who was aged 16 and from Liverpool was found on Wayford Close with a stab wound shortly before 10pm on Monday 1 August. He was taken to hospital and passed away on Thursday 4 August.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for information from the local community and ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything on the evening of Monday 1 August to contact police using the non-emergency number 101 and quoting the incident reference 775s of the 1st August.
