Car destroyed following arson attack in Broseley

Police are investigating after a car was deliberately set on fire in Broseley during the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters were called to a car park on Woodhouse Road, Broseley, at around 1am following a report that a car was on fire.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “The car had been deliberately set on fire, no one was in the vehicle when it was set alight and no one was reported injured as a result of the fire.

“If you were in the area and saw any suspicious activity, please call 101 and refer to incident 0024S 020616.”
