Police are investigating after a driver was assaulted by two men in the Sutton Hill area of Telford on Monday.

The incident happened on Bridgnorth Road in Sutton Hill, at around 7.45pm.

The 30-year-old victim was driving along the road when he became aware of a car behind him flashing its lights.

The victim has pulled over and the driver of the vehicle behind has then started shouting at the victim before getting out and approaching the victim. He has then proceeded to push the victim’s chest. The two have then become involved in an altercation.

The passenger of the offending vehicle has then exited the car and proceeded to assault the victim causing injury to his right eye and his bottom lip.

The pair were travelling in a silver Vauxhall Astra with a registration possibly ending in ‘UKP’.

The driver of the offending vehicle is believed to be a white man in his twenties and between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 6ins tall. He is described as being of a skinny build with short spiky hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey hooded top and black jogging bottoms.

The front seat passenger is also believed to be a white man in his late teens. He is thought to be of a skinny build with blond hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue bomber jacket, blue jeans and black baseball cap and a dark brown fingerless glove on his right hand.
