Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself to two teenage girls in Wellington.

The incident occurred at around 10.15am on Tuesday 22 September.

The two 17 year-old girls were walking through Victoria Avenue when they noticed a man stood in an alleyway. As they walked past he turned to face them and exposed himself whilst performing a lewd act.

The girls continued walking past and he did not attempt to follow them or speak to them.

The man is described as Asian, in his 40s, wearing jeans and a dark grey hooded sweater. He had dark ‘messy-style’ hair.

We are appealing for anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the incident, to come forward by calling police on 101, quoting incident number 297 of 22 September.
