Police officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault on a teenager in Morda.

The incident happened on Tuesday 28 July at around 9pm.

The victim, a 16-year-old-boy, was walking down the road when he was approached from behind by a group of males.

During the attack the victim sustained significant injuries which required hospital treatment.

Police are keen to speak to a number of passersby in the area, specifically a couple who stopped to help the victim following the incident. They were driving a sliver four- by-four style car. Also at the time of the attack another pedestrian walked by as well.
