Organisers of the music event said one of the main reasons for the postponement, amongst others, was that the May Bank Holiday weekend has become congested with festivals, including Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Writing on their website they said it was proving difficult to deliver the festival at the level and to the standard they strived for.

The event was due to take place in just two weeks time but will now switch to 9-11 August.

Tickets already purchased are valid for the new dates.
