The Wharfage will remain closed to traffic and pedestrians will need to follow designated routes. Businesses in the area remain open.

In Shropshire, flood warnings remain in force on the River Severn at the Showground and The Quarry in Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Jackfield including Coalport and Bridgnorth.

A flood alert is in place for the River Severn in Shropshire, Severn Vyrnwy Confluence and Rivers Tern, Perry, Roden, Strine and Meese and their tributaries.

Shrewsbury’s Frankwell Main and Riverside car parks remain closed with flood defences still in position in Frankwell.

The B5398 Waymills in Whitchurch remains closed in both directions. The road is closed between Waymills Roundabout and the Wayland Road junction.

Near Oswestry, Burma Road in Park Hall is closed at the junction of the A495.

Other minor road to be closed include Gravel Hill Lane, Sydney Avenue, Chilton Farm Lane at Atcham, Atcham to Cross Houses and Victoria Avenue.
