The beacon which is a cluster of red lights placed near the top of the television mast was damaged during heavy rain and winds which battered the county over the Christmas and New Year period.
Engineers from Arqiva, who look after TV and radio mast, completed the repairs which began last week on Thursday.
The beacon was reinstated in 2000 to mark the millennium after being decommissioned in the 1960s. It initially flashed at regular intervals but many locals said the beacon was not bright enough. A new more powerful cluster of static lights were fitted during an upgrade of the mast as part of the digital TV switch-over.
