It’s thought about ten people were involved including several girls who were present.

Although there were no known injuries, police did receive calls from several concerned passers-by.

Two juvenile youths were arrested in connection with the incident.

Police Constable Mike Jenkins, the investigating officer, said: “Fighting broke out in Bradford Street between 8.45pm and 9pm on Tuesday, involving a group of males.

“I am appealing to anyone who was present who saw any part of this incident, to contact Shifnal police station on 101. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.”
