The woman in her mid 20s was crossing the road just after 8.45am when she was in collision with a dark green Volvo.

The Volvo was travelling from Ironbridge towards the Castlefields Island when the collision occurred.

The woman was taken to hospital following this collision but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Police officers investigating the collision are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed it, or anyone who may have seen the green Volvo travelling along Castlefields Way in Madeley before the collision occurred.
