At around 10.10am yesterday morning, a 35-year-old woman was walking along Colliers Way near the retail park when she noticed that a white van appeared to be following her.
The white Ford Connect van then pulled up alongside her and the male driver asked the woman for her phone number.
The woman walked on but the man continued to ask her questions and shout things at her. The woman made no attempt to respond to the man and he eventually drove off as the woman deliberately changed direction to get away from him.
Although no offences actually took place, the woman was left quite concerned by this incident and decided to report it to police as she felt this man may approach other women. Police would therefore like to trace the driver of this van so they can speak to him about this incident.
The man is described as being white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s and as wearing a dark coloured ‘Parka’ coat with its furry hood up.
The man driving the van, or anyone who believes they may have information about this incident, is asked to contact PC 1983 Brett Tyson in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting incident number 147S 210113.
