The first incident involving one vehicle occurred on the A5 westbound at the Edgbold Island at around 2pm. One person was released by fire service personnel and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The second collision involved two cars travelling Eastbound from the Preston Island towards J7 of the M54. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene to make the vehicles safe.
