Sometime between 3.15pm and 3.30pm, an altercation took place that involved two parents and two young children.

The incident went on for two or three minutes and although the incident did not become particularly physical, it seems some pushing and shoving was involved.

It has been stated that a number of people saw this incident and PC Pender is very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it. It is important that anyone who did witness this incident comes forward and speaks to police.

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of assault in relation to this incident but he has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
