The woman noticed an unknown male in some bushes nearby, he shouted something at the woman and then, without warning, he exposed himself to her.
The 43-year-old woman challenged him about what he had done and the male immediately ran off down Orchard Lane towards the main road that leads from Woodside down to Ironbridge.
A police spokesman said: “The lady was left a little shaken by this incident and she immediately called the police.
“The male who exposed himself is described as being aged between 17 and 19, around 5ft 7inches tall, with a slim build and short, wavy, black hair.
“He is also described as having a thin goatee beard and a slightly ‘spotty’ complexion. The male is said to have been wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a red zip up jacket and white trainers.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who believes they may know this male and anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000.
Alternatively, please remember that Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you’d rather leave information without getting directly involved yourself.”
