Motorcyclist injured in Market Drayton collision

The collision occurred in Stafford Street, Market Drayton shortly after 1.45pm today.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said:

“A man in his twenties had an isolated leg injury which was dressed. He was given pain relief at the scene, was immobilised with the use of a spinal board and neck collar and was flown to the new Major Trauma Centre at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further specialist treatment.”

An ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended.
