Severn Hospice is asking people to help them make a difference this yuletide by buying a ticket for its Christmas Raffle.
Money raised from raffle ticket sales will help fund the care and support Severn Hospice provides to people across the region who are living with incurable illnesses.
Two hundred cash prizes will be given away to participants, including a jackpot of £5,000 for one lucky winner.
Tickets are now on sale for the draw and the hospice has written to 50,000 homes urging people to take part.
Adam Nicholls, Severn Hospice lottery director, said: “Our weekly lottery and enhanced prize draws like our Christmas Raffle are an essential source of income for Severn Hospice.
“People who buy a ticket for our raffle will not only be helping make a difference to local patients and their loved ones during their greatest time of need, but they will also be in with a chance of winning a cash prize just in time for the festive season.â€
Tickets for the raffle, which cost £1 each, are available by calling Severn Hospice’s lottery department on 01743 261505. Tickets will also be on sale at all of the hospice’s shops from November 7.
