West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Prospect Road in Market Drayton shortly before 7.30am this morning.

An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were dispatched to the scene. A BASICS doctor was also in attendance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a car and a bicycle that had been in collision.
“The man from the pushbike was treated at the scene for head and abdominal injuries, and a potential pelvic injury.
“The casualty, believed to be in his 30’s, was fully immobilised and airlifted to University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further assessment and specialist trauma treatment.
“The driver of the car was assessed on scene but did not require further hospital treatment.â€
