It follows over two years of consultation and deliberation’.
The Whitchurch Town & Parish Plan started with public meetings in the autumn of 2008. It is based upon the replies to the questionnaire that was sent to every household and business in the Town and Parish in February 2010. The results were analysed by a professional consultant and presented to a public meeting in June 2010. The results of the survey were used as the basis for production of the Plan The draft Plan was presented to members of the Town Council In February 2011 and then received the formal adoption by the Whitchurch Town Council at their meeting on 17th March 2011.
The Town Council will now spearhead the delivery of the Plan supported by the community. All members of the community are urged to become involved in making the vision a reality.
