The Shropshire Charity Trustee’s Network is holding a meeting at the offices of the Community Council of Shropshire, at Shrewsbury Business Park on Wednesday 8th June from 6pm until 8.30pm.

Guest speaker will be Clair Moelwyn-Williams from leading Shrewsbury chartered accountants Whittingham Riddell, who will provide expert advice on charitable finances and management of funding.

Head of Rural Services for the CCS, Maxine Betts said: “As the Community Council itself is a registered charity, we fully understand the importance of trustees being made aware of the issues and developments which affect their organisations.

“The Trustee Network, which is facilitated by the Community Council, not only provides relevant information but acts as a useful opportunity for people to get together and discuss issues which may affect them all, and new members are always welcome.”

The network is free to join and membership is open to all charity trustees, management committee members of voluntary organisations and directors of not-for-profit companies.
