The large grass fire broke out at Sutton Farm, Sutton Lane, Woodseaves, near Market Drayton at around 12.20 yesterday lunchtime.

About 60 firefighters tackled the blaze with units attending from Market Drayton, Hodnet, Newport, Ashley (Staffordshire), Prees, and Whitchurch.

The fire involved a large stack of around 2200 tonnes of elephant grass.
