Mr Hands was found by a member of the public walking his dogs on Haughmond Hill on December 13th 2010. He had been deceased for some time and was identified through dental records.

His last known address was in Worcester but he is originally from the Avon and Somerset area.

An inquest into Mr Hands’ death was opened by the Coroner for Mid and North Shropshire, Mr John Ellery, at 2.15pm today.

Mr Hands’ death is not believed to be suspicious and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage.
