An investigation has begun following the death of a young boy in Shropshire.

The boy reportedly aged seven or eight fell into a slurry pit near Broseley on Friday afternoon.

He was flown by air ambulance to hospital where he was pronounced dead. West Mercia Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched a joint investigation into the death.
