Producers are looking for local people who want to cash in their antiques and valuables to take part.

Dickinson’s Real Deal is currently one of the most popular daytime shows on ITV and is regularly watched by over a million people.

The programme is currently filming for its sixteenth series, with David Dickinson and the dealers travelling around the country looking for some more bobby dazzlers brought in by members of the public!

The programme works by members of the public showing their antiques to one of the dealers. Once the item has been accessed, the dealer will offer a cash amount with the seller having an opportunity to haggle for more, but if the seller doesn’t get the amount they wanted for the item and thinks it might be worth more, they can take a gamble at the auction.

David Dickinson will be keeping an eye on the deals and giving advice about whether to take the dealers’ cash or gamble at auction. But the final decision lies with the contributors and it’s up to them to decide which option is the Real Deal!

When and Where?

Anyone looking to sell their antiques for the right price can head to The Telford International Centre, St Quentin Gate, Telford on Saturday 27 April 2019.

Doors will be open between 8am and 5pm.

Members of the public should bring their antiques and collectables along – the team of independent valuers will be offering free advice on all items brought along on the day.

Admission is free and you do not need to book a place or a ticket.
