Samples collected by NASA will be on display as part of an evening celebrating the moon at Shropshire Astronomical Society this Saturday.

The event will take place at Roddington Village Hall from 7pm will be accompanied by a talk and, clouds permitting, a chance to observe the night sky.

Those attending are also invited to take part in a moon related show and tell session to share their information and photos.

The event is being organised by Shropshire Astronomical Society who regularly meet in Roddington.

Non-members are welcome to attend the free event.
