The Wroxeter, situated between Shrewsbury and Telford, will be serving up mocktails on Wednesday as they open their doors to provide inspirational ideas for prom organisers.

The red carpet will be rolled out and specialist prom photographers Signature Images will be snapping away as guests arrive.

Darryl-Ann Brooks, prom coordinator at The Wroxeter, said: “We know how much proms mean to the school leavers. How it is a final night of fun with their friends – many of whom will be going off to different universities – and how it marks the end of their school era.

“Proms are just as exciting for us as weddings as both involve giving people one of the happiest times of their lives so far. The open evening is much like a wedding fair and is held to give prom organisers ideas about what will make the perfect night.

“We love hosting a prom as we have a huge drive so there are lots of limousines pulling in and our grounds are always full of gorgeous dresses and handsome chaps in suits posing for photographs. It is always a great night.”

Stretch Ahead Limos will be on hand to chat about getting a limo ride to prom night and organisers can chat with The Wroxeter’s resident DJ about the all important playlist.

The Prom Fayre Open Evening will be held on Wednesday 1 October 1 between 6pm and 9pm.

Entry is free and everyone who attends will be able to enjoy non alcoholic cocktail on arrival.
