During this year’s Family Fun Weekend on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May, families enjoyed a heritage steam train ride along the Severn Valley and a visit to The Engine House Visitor Centre, Highley, where Peppa and George made personal appearances at intervals on both days.
There was a also a wealth of family fun on offer along the line, including a kids’ disco, inflatable play areas, plus magic shows, fun art & craft workshops and face painting.
Severn Valley Railway’s marketing and communications manager, Clare Gibbard, said: “This year’s event was a huge success – Peppa Pig & George once again proved a popular attraction! The feedback from visitors has been incredibly positive and it was great to see families enjoying themselves and making the most of what the Railway has to offer.”
