The family extravaganza to be held at Acorn Childcare Centre at RAF Cosford on June 30 will raise funds for outdoor sensory equipment for the youngsters.
Visitors will be able to test their footballing skills by having a go to see who can kick the ball the fastest in the Speed Cage, donated by sponsors of the event Telford-based Ball Sports Community Coaching.
Neil Prescott, from Telford, Steve Lalley from Market Drayton and Paul Marshall from Oswestry, who jointly own Ball Sports, said they would be handing over all of their profits from the day to the nursery to kick start their fundraising.
Mr Prescott said: “We work with children day-in day-out coaching different sorting skills so to be able to help a charitable organisation which has such a positive impact on the future of those children is wonderful.
“We may have quite a competition going on on the day to see who can get the fastest ball speed but the biggest kids will probably be the parents.â€
Anita Mellor, nursery manager said attractions at the event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, included The Animal Man, raffle, tombola, a fire engine and police car from the RAF base, a boutique of beauticians, an inter-house rounders competition for the parents and a visit from Peppa Pig.
She said the children who were leaving the pre-school to start school in September would be having a “graduation†ceremony as part of the event.
“What Ball Sports have offered to do for us is fantastic. They are giving up their time for us and offering an event and equipment which will hopefully raise lots of money,†she said.
Anybody interested in supporting the event, which is open to everyone, should call the nursery on (01902) 377221.
