The group of four, from PCB Solicitors, which has its headquarters on Shrewsbury Business Park, are girding themselves to abseil down the side of the town’s St Mary’s Church.
Despite some of the team have to conquer a fear of heights to do it, they are all said to be raring to go.
The daring group are legal executive, David Adams, Joyce O’Reilly and Oliver Nicholas, both solicitors, and the firm’s accounts manager, Linda Upton.
They will be raising money for the Churches Conservation Trust, which works to maintain and preserve the beautiful and historic buildings.

Their big day is Saturday, July 16, with the first one due to step off the church tower at 9.30am.
Linda explained: “While I’m okay with heights, not all of the team are exactly thrilled about coming down the side of a church, but it’s hugely to their credit that they are willing to overcome that and do it anyway.
“We’ll probably look a bit silly in our helmets, but hopefully we’ll raise some money for this worthwhile cause, have some fun and provide those with their feet still on the ground with some entertainment in the process! We’re hoping many of our colleagues, and anyone else who would like to cheer us on, will come along and give us their vocal support.â€
The team is hoping to raise £350 and has set up a web page that allows anyone to make a donation. It can be found at http://www.justgiving.com/teams/pcbabseil/.
