Shrewsbury Amateur Operatic Society requires two youngsters to appear in a Charles Dickens musical it is producing.
Charles Dickens’ Tale of Two Cities, the musical of which is coming to Shrewsbury, will give two local youngsters an opportunity to appear on stage.
Tale of Two Cities the Musical is Shrewsbury Amateur Operatic Society’s next production at Theatre Severn and its director Lynn Hunt-Craib is looking for a boy and girl to take part.
Both will have speaking parts and the girl will also have a singing role.
Said Lynn: “I would like to include 15 children in the show from next March 22-25. I gave the first opportunity to children of the cast and those who have previously performed with the society.
“Now I am looking for one more boy and girl aged nine to 10 who will be auditioned on Sunday November 6 at Belvidere School, Shrewsbury, starting at 2.00 pm.
“They will be asked to attend rehearsal after Christmas and from then on it will be a total commitment until the March production.”
