Kenneth Branagh takes the title role in his first Shakespearean production in over a decade, alongside Alex Kingston (Doctor Who, ER) as Lady Macbeth. Since the venue’s screening on Friday 26 has already sold out, this will be a chance for those of you not lucky enough to get tickets to see this acclaimed production.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh and Rob Ashford, this electrifying new production of Shakespeare’s tragic tale of ambition and treachery unfolds within the walls of an intimate deconsecrated Manchester church and is fast-paced, thrilling and chilling right from the start.
A spokesperson from the Assembly Rooms comments, “We are thrilled to be able to give our audience another chance to see this amazing production. The first screening sold-out so quickly and we hate to have to turn people away, so we’re looking forward to welcoming those not able to get tickets for Friday, to another full house on Saturday”.
Tickets costing £15 / £14 concessions, can be booked via the box office on 01584 878141 or on line at www.ludlowassemblyrooms.co.uk.
