Jamaican born and raised, Big Joe is a favourite on the European blues circuit and twice voted “Best UK Male Blues Vocalist”. He’s performed around the world-in over 20 European countries plus the USA, Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Egypt and South Africa and recorded with artists from Van Morrison to Dave “Honeyboy” Edwards.

He has accompanied over 25 US blues/gospel artists including; Lazy Lester, R L Burnside, Big Jack Johnson, Homesick James, Carey Bell, Rev Charlie Jackson, Roosevelt ‘’Booba’’ Barnes, Louisiana Red, Big Bad Smitty and Big Lucky Carter.

Support comes from Pieter van der Pluijm aka ‘Big Pete’ from Holland and the Jon Amor Blues Group (Jon formerly of renowned British Blues band, The Hoax). Other artists include Babajack, Scotland’s own Dave Arcari , Rhythm Zoo, Northsyde and Shrewsbury’s very own Blues Boy Dan.
