The talent show is back by popular demand, following a number of requests from members of the public to stage Telford Talent 2011.

Now in its third year, Telford Talent has proved a runaway success with sell out performances and record number of acts registering to perform.

This year’s show will take place on Tuesday 25 October and a series of auditions, including a boot camp, are planned for August.

Whatever your talent, whether you’re a singer, magician, cartoonist, acrobat or even martial art performer, we’d like here from you. The closing date for all applications is Sunday 3rd July.

Auditions will be held at The Place on:

· Sunday 7 August

· Sunday 28 August

· Sunday 25 September

A second round boot camp is planned Sunday 2 October.

The aim is to attract people of all talents and ages to come forward to take part in a unique production that will be performed at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place.

Janice Williams, Arts Development Officer at Telford and Wrekin Council, said: “Whether you’re a dancer, singer or even a magician, Telford’s Talent 2011 could be the show for you. This is a unique opportunity for people of all ages to showcase their talents and this year’s show is back by popular demand following interest from the public.”

An expert panel of judges, along with a celebrity guest will choose the final line to perform in October’s show.

The entry fee to enter the talent show is £5 and the winner of the competition will receive a cheque for £500. Tickets for the show will be £10.
