The talent show is back by popular demand, following a number of requests from members of the public to stage Telford Talent 2011.
Now in its third year, Telford Talent has proved a runaway success with sell out performances and record number of acts registering to perform.
This year’s show will take place on Tuesday 25 October and a series of auditions, including a boot camp, are planned for August.
Whatever your talent, whether you’re a singer, magician, cartoonist, acrobat or even martial art performer, we’d like here from you. The closing date for all applications is Sunday 3rd July.
Auditions will be held at The Place on:
· Sunday 7 August
· Sunday 28 August
· Sunday 25 September
A second round boot camp is planned Sunday 2 October.
The aim is to attract people of all talents and ages to come forward to take part in a unique production that will be performed at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place.
Janice Williams, Arts Development Officer at Telford and Wrekin Council, said: “Whether you’re a dancer, singer or even a magician, Telford’s Talent 2011 could be the show for you. This is a unique opportunity for people of all ages to showcase their talents and this year’s show is back by popular demand following interest from the public.â€
An expert panel of judges, along with a celebrity guest will choose the final line to perform in October’s show.

The entry fee to enter the talent show is £5 and the winner of the competition will receive a cheque for £500. Tickets for the show will be £10.
