Arthurs Vauxhall in Oswestry is celebrating after being presented with a Gold Customer Excellence Award.

The family-owned business based in Lower Brook Street was ranked fifth in the country out of a Vauxhall dealer network of 400 for its sales and aftersales customer experience.
“This is an amazing achievement,” said Vauxhall Director of Communications Denis Chick on presenting Arthurs with Vauxhall’s highly coveted Gold Customer Excellence Award.
Mr Chick, who has been with Vauxhall since 2002 and in the motor industry for 53 years said: “Arthurs is definitely punching above their weight in terms of what they have achieved for their size and this is great to see.
“It is so important for a local community to have a strong family owned business serving a strong customer base, many of whom are friends.
“In this industry, probably more than others, it is vital to provide strong customer service that keeps customers coming back.
“Loyalty through family, friends and neighbours is most important in the motor industry and having customers who endorse both your vehicles and your business is the best possible recommendation.
“Arthurs stands out from the crowd and to have a 115-year-old British brand sold by a local company is great to see. There’s is a really outstanding achievement,” he added.
The award was Arthurs sixth with five of them ‘on the bounce’ which is believed to be unprecedented within the Vauxhall dealer network.
