Bright Owls nominated for regional award

The team at Bright Owls in Shrewsbury town centre are celebrating this week, following their nomination, once again, for the Businesses for Children Awards.

Businesses for Children Awards exist to help reward businesses in Shropshire that educate, support or provide engaging activities for our future generations.

It is the second year running that Bright Owls have been nominated for the work that they do with young people across the county.

Speaking of the nomination, Julie Ball of Bright Owls said “Bright Owls are very pleased to have been nominated for a second year, for the Businesses for Children Awards. Being nominated provides great recognition for our work with young people – and it is certainly an honour for us to be nominated once again.”

The Businesses for Children Awards 2017 are on offer to schools, nurseries, educational businesses and even cookery classes – and focus on businesses that deliver enjoyable activities for young people.

The Award nominations culminate in a formal awards ceremony, helping to further raise the profile of local businesses.
