Today sees the launch of a new look shropshirelive.com, designed to make the viewing experience even better.
The refreshed new look has been chosen for its clean and crisp layout that lets users navigate and load its content with ease.
It’s the fourth makeover of the site since launching seven years ago.
Users will still be able to read the latest local news, sport, features and entertainment, plus browse other sections including the hugely popular business, taste and lifestyle sections with a couple of clicks or taps.
The new design is also intended to seamlessly incorporate display advertising, making advertisers stand out, but not spoil the user’s experience at the same time.
Chris Pritchard, Editor, commented:
“We want our users to enjoy our website by finding, reading and sharing our content as easily as they can.
“The way people consume their news has dramatically changed over the last few years and our readers expect us to be in tune with them, creating not only fresh content daily but also for it to be presented in the best way possible on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
“We also want make sure our advertisers get the best they can by using our website to promote their products and services. Many websites are now bombarding their users with adverts, whilst not thinking about the user experience or getting the best for the advertiser.”
shropshirelive.com boasts over 150,000 readers a month, making it Shropshire’s most popular ‘online only’ news and entertainment website.
