Chartered surveyors Towler Shaw Roberts is looking forward to another successful year as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.
TSR, with offices in Shrewsbury, Telford and Wolverhampton, has developed an excellent reputation as a leading firm of commercial property agents offering regional coverage and local expertise.
Partner Toby Shaw, who started the company with Jon Towler in January 1991, said TSR had long been regarded as an important regional practice, but the firm is now also recognised nationally and asked to undertake projects on the continent.
Mr Shaw, the head of agency, said: “We have come a long way since Jon and I started the company and I am very proud of the fact that we have now grown to a size that is well recognised across the country in handling multi-million pound transactions.
“Equally, we have never lost sight of the importance of the service we offer to the local markets and we are hugely appreciative of the loyalty shown by our clients. This makes the next 25 years even more exciting.”
TSR, originally based at Abbot’s House in Butcher Row in the heart of Shrewsbury, now has impressive county town headquarters at Brassey Road, off Old Potts Way.
The firm started to expand when Ian Roberts joined as a partner in 1996 to set up the successful Wolverhampton office, now at Tettenhall Road. The Telford office, at Stafford Park, swiftly followed, opening in 1999.
Mr Roberts, head of professional services, said: “Key to the growth of the company is the TSR team and, as the years have passed, our recognition in the market has resulted in high-calibre personnel being attracted to the firm to further enhance the quality of service.
