A Shrewsbury company established in 2001 has created new jobs and invested in ground breaking new technology.
Creative Digital, located on Shrewsbury’s Oxon Business Park, have invested £250,000, added an additional Shropshire based premises and created three new positions.
Managing Director, Chris Henderson, explains, “We have always looked to the future and have just invested in a state of the art flatbed printer that can print on almost any material from wood to plastic and glass to aluminium. With our new production facility we are ideally placed to serve both the North and South of the region. We have also welcomed two new technicians who will manage the new office and technology.”
To drive and extend the business Mr Henderson has also appointed local marketer Tom Hunt who will head up client services for Creative Digital. Mr Hunt worked for marketing agencies in London and Birmingham before becoming Marketing Manager of the multi-award winning Ludlow Food Centre which was voted Britain’s Best Food Hall last year. However, the twist to his appointment is that Mr Hunt worked as the Sales Manager at Creative Digital almost ten years ago.
He says, “It’s a bit like coming home. I have always stayed in touch with Chris and team and the business has developed so well that when they asked me if I would come back I couldn’t say no. With ground breaking new technology and an experienced team of designers, printers and marketing specialists we are well positioned to help local, national and international businesses with their marketing and I am looking forward to working with a wide variety of brands.”
Following the recent Shropshire Business Summit it is clear that for Shropshire businesses to stand out they need to look to and invest in the future. Although the financial climate is still uncertain it is clear that some brave businesses are willing to stride out and make the investments needed to compete. Creative Digital have always maintained a belief that the best technology and the best people will keep them ahead and it looks like their willingness to invest is paying off.
