Shropshire-based PCB Solicitors is celebrating the successes of Jessica Hilditch, who has become a fully-qualified solicitor, and Lynn Vowles, who was recognised as a full member of SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly).

Rachael Hughes, Managing Partner at PCB Solicitors, said: “We’d like to congratulate both Lynn and Jessica on achieving such prestigious qualifications, and thank them for all their hard work and dedication over the past months, as this regularly included out-of-hours study and examinations. We have always believed in investing in training and industry memberships for our staff, which not only provides them with ongoing career development, but it ensures that we continue to provide the best possible service to each and every one of our clients, and Lynn and Jessica are perfect examples of how this can all work.”

Jessica Hilditch officially qualified as a solicitor in September and will be working at the firm’s Shrewsbury office in its residential property department, advising on all areas of conveyancing. Jessica joined the practice in 2010 working across the firm’s Craven Arms and Shrewsbury branches as an accredited Police Station Representative and Legal Clerk within the Crown Court department, after completing a Law degree and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of the West of England.

In addition, Lynn Vowles, Wills and Probate Solicitor, has recently become a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), a UK-wide independent organisation that brings together the country’s most experienced and knowledgeable experts specialising in advising older and vulnerable individuals on matters such as care home fees and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Lynn is the fourth member of staff at PCB to gain full membership, and to obtain affiliation she was required to demonstrate significant practical experience in wills and probate-related legislation, and pass an in-depth written examination.
