Advice on the law, fire audits, and the responsibility each firm faces will be explained in the two hour presentation from a fire officer.

An information pack will also be available before an inspection of business premises is carried out.

“The seminars significantly assist a business to comply with legislation and

reduce subsequent audit time,” said Pat Johnson, of the brigade’s Business Fire Safety department.

“Our seminars are free and well attended and so places are limited and booking early is essential.”

Seminars are at fire stations in Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Bridgnorth, MInsterley and Telford:

– Shrewsbury fire HQ 10am to midday and 2pm to 4pm November 18
– Whitchurch Fire Station 10am to midday November 20
– Bridgnorth Fire Station 10am to midday November 25
– Minsterley Fire Station 10am to midday November 26
– Telford Central Fire Station at Stafford Park 10am to midday and 2pm to 4pm November 27
