The British Ironwork Centre, Aston, has designed a bespoke gazebo featuring images of the town’s interests and attractions as a “Pop-Up” promotional tool to raise awareness of Oswestry as a tourist destination.

The company, a proud member of Oswestry’s Tourism groups, is keen to promote the local tourism economy and support local tourism businesses and is taking the gazebo to a number of the summer shows and events at which it is present. The Centre is appealing to other local businesses to make use of this promotional tool for the good of the town.

Clive Knowles, Chairman, said “We aim to do all that we can to promote Oswestry as a great place to visit and, in turn, support local businesses who depend upon tourism visitors. At present, we plan to take the gazebo to Osfest, Ludlow Food festival, Llangollen Food festival, Shrewsbury Flower Show and possibly Burwarton Show to raise awareness of everything Oswestry has to offer.”

“We are appealing to our commerce partners to promote our town. Other local businesses, who are willing to take care of it, would be more than welcome to have the gazebo on loan to take to any events at which they may be appearing.”
