Servicemaster, of Telford, has appointed Corina Dennis as office manager at its Halesfield 11 headquarters, to help manage and support its large workforce which covers Shropshire, Mid Wales and the West Midlands.

Corina, who lives in Shrewsbury, has over two decades office experience ranging from HR administration and project management to running call centres, and will be responsible for administration and supervising the firm’s team of 350 cleaning operatives.

The company, a longstanding member of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, has recently secured several new commercial contracts from firms both large and small throughout the region as part of a planned expansion programme.

Managing director David Edwards said: “We are delighted to welcome Corina to the team as she brings with her a wealth of experience having previously worked in several varied managerial roles and we believe that she will be a vital asset to the continued growth of the company.”

Corina added: “With such a large workforce of well over 300 it may appear a somewhat daunting task to keep them in check, but having managed several boisterous 14 and 15-year-old boys of the county junior rugby teams for several years, I think I will cope!”
