Bridgnorth based Andrews Law have been accepted on to the government backed Growth Accelerator scheme, and have appointed Gary Halpin of business consultants Good 2 Great and Shropshire Chamber patrons to work with them.
The scheme provides match funded resources and expert advice to business owners looking to expand by rapidly increasing turnover and profitability, with the view to creating jobs in a short period of time.
The law firm’s director, Rob Andrews, has worked with Gary and his co-director Johnny Themans, for the last couple of years, and Andrews Law has provided specialist legal advice to the consultancy as they have increased their range of services, and expanded their business in this time period.
Rob commented: “Working with Good 2 Great meant that we were well positioned to be signposted by them to the Growth Accelerator scheme. They have helped us to get into shape and ready for our next steps forward. We are excited about what this means for our clients, and for the opportunity to create job opportunities within the practice.”
Rob encourages any businesses in a similar position to make enquiries about the availability of the scheme for them, and would be happy to speak to business owners about his experiences so far.
Gary added: “Because Andrews Law specialise in commercial law they know the way business owners and Directors work. They therefore provide practical pragmatic advice in a time and cost effective way. It is no surprise they are growing and supporting ambitious businesses both locally and further afield.”
As part of the plans for growth, Julian Palmer, corporate and property law consultant with the solicitors practice, is looking to further develop the services supplied to those involved in property and development work in and around the county. The practice is well known for working with developers and others involved in the property sector, and has seen a marked increase in instructions from this sector so far this year. Andrews Law has already hosted two successful Property Forums at the Greenhous Meadow, providing expert speakers on topical subjects, and a third is planned for September.
Speaking of the plans, Julian said: “The Growth Accelerator initiative will provide a springboard for Andrews Law to continue to expand in this area of work and to implement a range of measures to increase the specialist services we provide to clients in this sector.” He adds: “I am looking to add to our team and we are actively recruiting.”
